Loyola Secure Access (LSA) is a service that securely provides users with anytime, anywhere access to the Loyola network. Once connected to LSA, you can securely access campus resources from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection. Loyola University Chicago provides access to LSA on an as-needed basis. The university VPN allows you to access these non-secure services. The Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows a UCMC staff member to securely access UCMC's network off campus, from anywhere in the world. Since some services are only available to staff connected to the network, a VPN connection is essential to access those necessary tools and services. Virtual Private Networking (VPN) allows students, faculty and staff to securely connect to the campus network from anywhere in the world using their Illinois credentials, and access services and resources usually restricted to people on campus. Vendor VPN Access Procedure Scope. This document describes the procedure to activate VPN access for vendors to Loyola networks and systems for maintenance and support. Purpose. Vendors requiring remote access to Loyola’s intranet for configuration, maintenance, and emergency support are required to use the Loyola VPN service.
